> May 6 (**Bloomberg**) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez comments **on the alleged dangers of television shows from abroad**. Chavez spoke during a televised speech in Caracas.
> **“Be careful with your children. The television shows they send us from abroad are poisoned because sometimes there are codes you can’t see due to the speed of the image.** They plant codes. Poison. At normal speed, you can’t see them. Only with a slow camera, sometimes you can see them. Subliminal codes of violence to destroy the beauty of human beings, above all boys and girls.”
