                   Se pensate che Obama sia ormai saldamente incardinato in una non meglio precisata “dottrina Bush”, o che comunque stia fedelmente ripercorrendo le orme di W., soprattutto sul teatro afghano, e se pensate ciò anche per i reiterati messaggi non troppo subliminali del solito tuttologo appena assunto dalle edizioni Broken Records, fatevela passare.

E andate a rileggervi quello Obama voleva fare da candidato democratico alla presidenza degli Stati Uniti, nel luglio 2008:

> “It’s time to refocus our attention on the war we have to win in Afghanistan. It is time to go after the Al Qaeda leadership where it actually exists.”

Il tutto da ottenere spostando migliaia di truppe di terra dall’Iraq. Il 22 ottobre 2008, pochi giorni prima dell’elezione, Obama reiterava la criticità afghana:

> It’s time to heed the call from General McKiernan and others for more troops. That’s why I’d send at least two or three additional combat brigades to Afghanistan. We also need more training for Afghan Security forces, more non-military assistance to help Afghans develop alternatives to poppy farming, more safeguards to prevent corruption, and a new effort to crack down on cross-border terrorism. Only a comprehensive strategy that prioritizes Afghanistan and the fight against al Qaeda will succeed, and that’s the change I’ll bring to the White House

E’ proprio Bush reincarnato, non c’è che dire.
